4 ways to help Soul Farm survive after Storm Goretti

Help us move forward after Storm Goretti, having already lost polytunnels by choosing to do what we believe is right (see below)

Thank you to everyone who reached out with kind words after both those events.

Here are four ways you can help.

Ways you can help

Donating to
emergency fund

The total cost of this damage is over £20,000. We realise this is a big ask, so hitting an initial target of £10,000 will help us cover the loss of winter and spring crops

Why We Need Your Help

Each winter, we struggle through financially as it is. Things were already made tougher this winter due to us making the decision to stop renting three large polytunnels as soon as we found out that the owner had publicly made racist and fascist comments - completely the opposite of what we stand for. This put our business at risk but our ethics were safe. Tunnel space is incredibly valuable to our growing operation, and it is what helps us make it through the winter when growing crops outside is barely possible.

So, during Autumn 2025, we had to invest in more caterpillar tunnels that we worked round the clock to erect in our existing growing spaces.

However, on the 8th January 2026, another curveball was thrown at the farm - Storm Goretti. We knew there'd be an impact, but we never expected such drastic loss. We've lost every single caterpillar tunnel we erected just a couple of months ago.
